This project aims to support Concordia students and youth (18-30) that have business ideas that are not fully developed or established yet which have a social and/or environmental purpose that benefits their communities. The project launched with a business competition where business groups are selected to benefit from this project throughout workshop and mentorship coordinated by CEED and in partnership with several external organizations.
Objectives
Raise awareness and interest for social entrepreneurship
Bridge barriers for young entrepreneurs such as lack of networking, skills and discrimination
Transform business ideas from youth into established business opportunities
Provide capacity building to youth to develop their business
Support business ideas tackling social, environmental and economic challenges
